Why Register Feels Different
Register does not give you four permanent skills. Every fight is a conversation with a looping receipt list. New players mash R and lose the plot; good Register players always know the next two receipts and whether Coupon is available to seal them.
This guide assumes you already know M1 basics from How to Play. If you are brand new, read that first, then come back — receipt routing is mid-game complexity.
Memorize the Loop
Write the order on a sticky note until it is automatic: Gushing Wound, Home Run, Littering, Coupon, Piano Drop, Garage Sale, Blunt Trauma, Speed Crash. After Speed Crash the list restarts. There is no RNG.
R skips the current receipt. Spend skips to chase Piano Drop for held targets or Speed Crash when a sealed Home Run already created the confirm. Do not skip blindly during hitstun — losing track is how Register dies to ordinary rushdown.
V1.79 Coupon & Speed Crash
Coupon cooldown is now 5 seconds. Using it twice applies Red Seal to the next queued move. Sealed Home Run and Garage Sale are your cleanest confirms. Speed Crash is the new end-of-cycle offensive option — route toward it when the opponent is already ragdolled or cornered.
Blunt Trauma's larger vertical hitbox and reduced endlag make it a safer bridge into Speed Crash. Littering damage was cut to 8, so stop treating Littering as a primary damage button.
Practice Plan
In a private server, call the next receipt out loud before you press it. Then practice one sealed sequence: Coupon ×2 → Home Run → Blunt Trauma → Speed Crash. Finally practice emergency skips into Piano Drop when a dummy is held.
Only after the order is automatic should you take Register into ranked. Half of Register's losses are self-inflicted cycle mistakes, not bad matchups.
